Kulanu Toronto, the LGBTQ Jewish campus group at the University of Toronto is hosting a "Goodbye Fall" Pub Event at O'Grady's Pub on Wednesday November 21, 2007 at 8:00pm.

Come out and celebrate as the end of term is fast approaching.
O'Grady's is located on Church street just one block south of Wellesley on the west side.
Admission is free.Come for 8:00pm.

"Hineini: Coming out in a Jewish High School". The story of an entire community inspired and changed by one's courage. Featured Speaker: Tara Goldstein, Assoc. Chair of Teaching and Education, OISE/UofT. Kulanu is excited to be partnering with Pride Toronto and the Miles Nadal JCC to screen an inspiring and groundbreaking film during Pride Week.

Spring into the season with Kulanu’s most stylin’ Shabbat dinner ever - new location, new Kosher caterer, and real dishes! As always, you can dress as casually or stylishly as you like. This one will be a dairy dinner, so we’ll be serving plenty of delicious vegetarian options and desserts! RSVP by Monday, May 7th to guarantee your spot.

Hey Everyone!

Get ready for Kulanu's biggest winter event, our 2nd annual Purim Party at El Convento Rico. Don't miss out on this great event sponsored by XTRA! If you've never heard of Purim, it's like Halloween except Jewish and in March. There will be costumes, dancing, and lots of delicious Purim pastries called hamantaschen. A bonus for you all: if you dress up, you get half off the $10 cover. Here are the details:

WHAT: Costumes, Dancing, Live Performances, Hamantaschen

WHEN: Thursday, March 8th - 9pm until 2am

WHERE: El Convento Rico at 750 College St W, east of
Ossington.

WHO: You and all your friends, partners and allies. You don't have to be Jewish! We'll have a wrist-band policy under effect, so if you're under 19 you can come!

HOW MUCH: $10 cover or $5 in costume

WHAT TO WEAR: A costume (bonus points for 007 themes - think suits, ties, slinky evening gowns, skimpy bikinis)

A few grrls from LGBTOUT, LGBTQSC, LGBTOUT grads, Kulanu, and LGBTQ Resources are organizing Grrl Rendezvous!. On Sunday Dec 3rd we'll head out for dinner, drinking, dancing and debauchery!
