Trans Film Event: "Southern Comfort" FREE
Trans Film Event: Free Film, Free Snacks, Free Talk
The trans-inclusion group presents the next in a
series of free movie screenings. Join us on Tuesday
evening to watch Southern Comfort, the documentary
made about Robert Eads in the final year of his life.
Diagnosed with ovarian cancer, he was turned away by
more than two dozen doctors because he was trans,
which they feared would be an embarrassment to their
medical practice. In the stark setting of rural
Georgia, Robert's story unfolds through interviews
with his friends, loved ones, and family.
If you missed the Inside Out film festival, come to
our free alternative. If you went to Inside Out, come
to our free alternative anyway.
Everyone welcome - allies welcome.
There will be time for discussion afterwards.
